	Welcome Northwestern makes a conscious effort to help new students make a successful adjustment to college life. In developing a course schedule for your first semester, we realize the importance of getting as much information as we can about your academic plans and preferences. Your responses to this survey are very important. They will be used to create your first-semester course schedule. When you attend one of the orientation/registration days (May 22 or 23), we will share with you the tentative course schedule we have developed. If you are unable to attend one of the orientation/registration days, we will send the course schedule to you this summer. Please note that there will be an opportunity to request changes in this schedule after you meet with your adviser and before completing the final registration process on Saturday, Aug. 23. Changes can also be made during the first five days of the semester. Please complete and submit this survey by May 1.
